HOA Liens result from court-ordered money judgments over delinquent dues. The judgment can then be recorded and the home may be foreclosed upon in the collection process. Senior liens must be paid before the HOA dues in their order of priority, typically, tax liens followed by first mortgages and then HOA dues.
